Late Shri K.V. Keshavulu

K. V. Keshavulu (Karne Venkata Keshavulu) was a veteran Congress leader, freedom fighter, and former Minister in the undivided Andhra Pradesh cabinet.

A prominent figure in the 1960s Telangana movement, he played a significant role in advocating regional development and public welfare. He served with distinction as Minister for Textiles and Cooperation, contributing meaningfully to the state’s administrative and social progress.

He was the Founder-cum-President of Meru Sangam Telangana and the Founder-cum-Chairman of Meru Trust Telangana, institutions established with a vision of community upliftment and social service.

Shri Keshavulu Garu passed away on January 30, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving behind a lasting legacy of leadership, sacrifice, and dedicated service to society in Hyderabad and beyond

Late Shri Kataram Krishna

Shri Kataram Krishna Garu is one of the senior-most and most highly respected leaders of Meru Sangam Telangana. He has served the organization with great dedication and responsibility as the Vice President of the Sangam, and also as a Trustee of the Meru Trust.

He is widely admired for his generosity, humility, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of the community. Over the years, his valuable donations have played a significant role in supporting various Sangam activities and developmental initiatives.

Notably, he has generously sponsored food arrangements for numerous major occasions, including the grand Meru Samuhika Marriage, where nearly four to five thousand guests were served.

His remarkable contributions clearly reflect his deep sense of service, strong leadership, and sincere devotion to the progress and unity of the Meru community.

Shri Kovvuru Bhaskar Rao

Resident of Chikkadpally, Hyderabad. A senior and highly respected politician, he has earned recognition for his leadership and longstanding commitment to public service. He served as the President of Meru Sangam Telangana for more than twenty years, guiding the organization with vision, dedication, and integrity.

Currently, he serves as the Chairman of Meru Atma Gourava Bhawan Trust, Uppal Bhagayath, Hyderabad, where he continues to contribute actively towards community development and social welfare initiatives.

Shri Podishetty Narsing Rao

Resident of Marredpally and a prominent Real Estate entrepreneur with extensive experience in property development. He has successfully executed numerous ventures, particularly in the Alwal region, earning a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and business excellence.

Alongside his entrepreneurial achievements, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to community service, having served for many years as the Vice President of Meru Sangam Telangana.

He currently holds the position of Chairman of Meru Trust, an esteemed institution established in 1974,where he continues to uphold and advance its mission of social welfare and community development.

Shri Pendyala Chandra Mohan

Shri Pendyala Chandra Mohan Garu, a respected resident of Shivrampally, is a highly active and dynamic leader known for his dedication to public service and community development.

He served as the Sarpanch of Shivrampally, where he contributed significantly to local governance and grassroots development. With his strong leadership and commitment, he was later elected as the President of Meru Sangam Telangana for two consecutive terms.

During his tenure, he undertook numerous developmental initiatives and welfare activities for Meru Sangam Telangana, Hyderabad, strengthening the organization and enhancing its service to the community.

His visionary leadership, administrative capability, and unwavering dedication continue to inspire many within the Meru community.

Shri Keerthi Prabhakar

Resident of Hyderabad Keerthi Prabhakar Garu is a distinguished and highly respected Advocate with an illustrious legal career. Practicing at both the High Court and the Supreme Court levels, he is recognized as a senior professional known for his expertise, integrity, and deep understanding of the law.

Beyond his legal accomplishments, he has actively contributed to community leadership, having served as the President of Meru Sangam Telangana for two terms. Widely admired for his soft-spoken nature, gentle demeanor, and kind-hearted personality, he continues to inspire both in his profession and in public service.

Shri Madishetti Ramaswamy

Sri Madishetti Ramaswamy is a highly respected elder of the Meru community, known for his generosity, craftsmanship, and lifelong commitment to social service. For nearly 60 years, he has been a guiding presence in the community. Though not formally highly educated, he holds deep respect for education and spiritual knowledge, earning his home the name “Vidya Sadan.”

He has served Meru Sangam Telangana with distinction — five times as Vice President and once as Treasurer — reflecting the community’s trust in his leadership. A true philanthropist, he has generously supported the construction of Meru Sangham buildings, temples, Annadana facilities, and several community projects. He firmly believes that beyond living for oneself, one must also live and give back to society.

Shri Adapa Venkateshwar Rao

Shri Adapa Venkateshwar Rao garu is one of the senior-most and most respected leaders in our community. With his dedication, integrity, and strong leadership, he has rendered remarkable service to the Meru community for many years.

He served as the President of Zone-1 for two successful terms, where he worked tirelessly for the welfare and development of the community. Later, he was elected as the Treasurer of Meru Sangam Telangana for two consecutive terms, managing responsibilities with transparency and commitment.

Subsequently, he was elected as the Vice President of Meru Sangam Telangana, continuing his valuable service. At present, he is serving as the Convenor of the Adhoc Committee of Meru Sangam Telangana, Hyderabad, guiding the organization with experience and vision.

His continuous dedication and leadership remain a great inspiration to the entire community.

Shri Munigala Satish Kumar

Shri Munigala Satish Kumar, Ex-Corporator Jawahar Nagar , is a dedicated public servant known for his active involvement in community development and welfare activities.

During his tenure as Corporator, he worked tirelessly for civic improvements and the betterment of local residents. His leadership and commitment continue to earn him respect in the community.

He played a major role in strengthening Uppal Meru Sangam and contributed significantly toward the construction of Sri Shankara Dasamaya Meru Vasathi Bhavanam, Yadagirigutta.
